  • Motithang Mini Zoo: where you can see Takin, the National Animal of Bhutan
  • Take a walk around the 108 memorial Chortens, one of the most beautiful passes facing toward eastern Himalayas
  • Visit nunnery (The women monk temple) for drawing and meditation 
  • Thirteen art and craft institute: popularly known as zorig chusum

THIMPHU FESTIVAL 10 DAYS 9 NIGHTS

Tshechus are large social gatherings, which perform the function of social bonding among people of remote and spread-out villages. Large markets also congregate at the fair locations, leading to brisk commerce. The Thimphu tshechu and the Paro tshechu are among the biggest of the tshechus in terms of participation and audience. This Unique Dance are composed by the great teacher Guru Rinpoche for the well beings of all sentience beings, visiting this festival brings great merits and better Karma.

6 Days 5 Nights, a Glimpse of Bhutan…

DAY 1

  • Flight into Paro by Druk-Air.
  • Delightful lunch in Paro valley.
  • Visit Ta Dzong, the watch tower of Paro Dzong which now houses the national museum.
  • Drive to the confluence of Paro – Thimphu river, you will see three forms of Stupas in different styles: Nepalese, Tibetan, and Bhutanese.
  • Go to Thimphu,check in and rest after dinner.

DAY 2 (Thimphu – Punakha via Dochula) 

  • Begin our journey toward Punakha via Dochula. The Dochula Pass is at an altitude of 3,050 meters above sea-level.
  • Take a walk around the 108 memorial Chortens, one of the most beautiful passes facing toward eastern Himalayas.
  • Visit Punakha Dzong, the administrative Centre of Punakha Dzongkha in Bhutan and winter capital for Thimphu monks.

  • Night halt at Deothang Monastery

DAY 2 Samdrup Jongkhar – Barshong (Tashigang)

  • Visit Barshong Monastery in Tashigang
  • Visit Zangdopelri Monastery which consist of unique and wonderful detailed murals and ceiling mandalas
  • Visit Handloom, the National Weaving Center and to National Institute for Disabled  
  • Night halt at Barshong Monastery
