Legend of Tigers nest


Taktshang, or the Tiger’s Nest, Its history is Associated with The visit Off great Indian Saint Guru Padmasambhava in eighth Century A.D. That cave was name Tigers nest or Taktshang  after Guru Rinpochea flew into the cave from singye Dzong located in Eastern Bhutan riding on a tigress. landing within the cave, he took the wrathful form of guru Dorji Drolo ( One of the eight manifestations of Guru Rinpochea) to subdue the Demons. img_e7818


The Monastery is one of the thirteen main  Taktshang predicted to have been built in the buddhist world , the cliff on which Taktshang stands today is also resemble the ritual dagger, PHURBA(Vajrakila)
